Nicholas Bliss' Margay Enduro
Ric Bliss found this kart at a yard sale in 1993. He was looking for a kart for his son Nicholas' 8th birthday. Th kart was in sad shape and made a good father / son project.
The frame is powder coated in metallic gold-red, as are the wheel hubs and tank caps. The rest was done in near-chrome finish; all aluminum is polished.
The motors are West Bend with GEM dual carb manifolds. Tillotson HL232 supply the fuel and the exhaust passes out Van Tech boxes The worn out vinyl and duct tape seat was replaced with 2-tone grey cloth. Brakes are Airheart spot.
Nicholas, who doesn't hesitate to open up both West Bends down the straight, was featured with this kart in the March 1995 issue of National Kart News.
