Joseph Nowak of Shirley, New York bought this kart in 1970 at the age of 14.
It was completely stripped. I was told at the time that it was a "Stellar".
Appears instead to be a Fox Kart, most probably a 1961 "Mak Kart".
"I'm a machinist so I made my own rims,axle,and steering linkages. I restored it 3
years ago [1997] so my kids can have fun with it. It has a 3.5 h.p. Tecumseh on it for
now. and also has a
second motor mount."
