Suddenly it's 1960 - Lindsay California

This neat photo appeared in the February 1960 issue of "Quarter Midget and Karting World" magazine. Shown is part of Lindsay Karting Club membership. The track, located in Lindsay (in the San Joaquin valley, in central california), was patterned after the Go Kart Raceway in Azusa. Go Kart Raceway was the first ever made-for-karts race track (having opened in 1959), and it didnt take long for others to follw suit. Here's a view of the Lindsay track:
